Jacobs’ Journal is a new student organization that will require dedicated members to help get off the ground. Keep in mind that as an infant organization, each member holds a greater say in the establishment of the club and has a greater impact on major club decisions.

So, why join Jacobs’ Journal?

  • Joining an upcoming org allows you to greatly influence the direction and pace of the journal
  • Along with this, you have the power to lead/chair your own programs
  • Learn how to research and read academic papers and manuscripts, how to draft literature reviews
  • Conduct interviews and learn more about researchers in your field
  • Become published
  • Little to NO experience required— just be dedicated! Freshmen are welcome and highly encouraged to apply
  • Full autonomy over research topics and lead projects small to large
  • Work one-on-one with mentors and editors throughout the entire process
  • Connect with dedicated members within the Science Communication community and expand your network

Applicants will be invited to a short informative interview to meet our members and learn more about the team. Successful applicants are dedicated and curious. Learn more about us here.

Our Spring 2021 application is available at tinyurl.com/journalapply.
